Don't get me wrong ... I am not saying that Snowshoe is not worth going. It's actually our favorite before we start skiing the West. Snowshoe has much better terrain than that of 7Springs, and it also has the longest snow season in our area. The signture Western Territory there is a long enjoyable run (it's really like skiing in the West). We have stayed in many of Snowshoe's lodges (from platinum grade to private bed-and-breakfast), but none of them inexpensive.

BUT:
I believe snowshoe's better skiing + saving $200 (compare $400 7springs) is still NOT worth the 1.5 hour one way (3 hour two way) extra drive. Of course it depends whether you have the extra time to drive. I don't.

Snowshoe is good, but the problem is lodging. There is no inexpensive lodging there!
每次去大約住2晚滑2天半差不多! 計劃應如下:
day-1. 早上出發午後check-in晚上滑 Silver Creek
day-2. 滑一天白天
day-3. 滑一天白天下午4點半離開

I went to liberty for 2 times after last time we met at Whitetail. Liberty has much less crowd than whitetail. And I can finally make it to the backside of the mountain now:D
Plan to go again this week to get some more practice before the end of the season. Hope to see people from this group there!

大家好，小妹今年初学滑雪，上上周在whitetail上课遇上了snowrider大哥，得到指点找到这个群。群里都是高手，希望什么时候能和各位高手一起滑雪学习啊，跟着老师学感觉比自己瞎琢磨有用多了：）这几次都去的whitetail，现在还是只能滑绿道，滑来滑去总觉得没啥进步，就是觉得滑得特费劲，不像别人感觉很轻松很自如的感觉。明天准备去liberty试试，听说那边那条很长的绿道dipsy doodle比whitetail的好，希望长点能多做一些练习。 听说whitetail蓝道比较好，liberty的绿道比较好,不知道是不是这样啊？另外这两个山头哪个山头的蓝道比较容易一点？我准备什么时候壮着胆子上去试试。
