[ChineseSkiClub] Ski Trip :: Colorado (03/17-23/2013)

What: I am organizing a ski trip to Colorado in March. It's right after our local ski season ends, so we can ski more in one of the best ski desitnations in the world.

When: 03/17-23 (5 ski days)

Where: Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin

Transportation: Our flight arrives DEN at 5:00 PM on 03/17/2013, and our departure flight from DEN is at 3:00 PM on 03/23/2013.

If you are interested in joining this trip, please let me know ASAP so that we can arrange lodging and ground tranportation.

That is a good idea! Will you be interested in hosting/coordinating that events? I would love to teach and I can also arrange the best Children Specialists at Whitetail to teach.

I was thinking that we could get more negotiation power with the resort if our club had more members. Skiers/snowboarders in this area go to either Liberty or Whitetail. They are under the same mother company, but actually they are still competing. Say, if we had a big group of members, I could talk to my boss to see if they are willing to offer a discount rate specific to the members of CSC. Since right now we are still growing, we do need more people join our ski/snowboard club.

Actually, there was a indoor slope in 深圳. I skied in there when I was young. That was my first time on a ski. But it is very small.

[ChineseSkiClub] 7月/8月乞力马扎罗+东非 safari招同伴

目前在紧密计划summer的时候去东非,行程是6天爬乞力马扎罗, 6天Serengeti/Maasai
Mara safari. 我已经开始联系当地的团要报价了,来来回回共14天左右. 具体时间未定
,人数未定准备4~6人. 多图参见:

初步的计划是:
飞内罗毕, local小飞机到KIA.也有可能直接飞JRO,贵些.
跟团transfer 到Moshi,6天Marangu 路线.
下山以后Arusha修整一天,跟团去6~7天Serengeti/Maasai Mara看动物.
北上进肯尼亚, safari结束以后transfer到内罗毕回美国.

选择Marangu路线是因为时间的限制,另外LD不想住冷帐篷. 6天从南到北的safari有点
赶,但是因为是一条线路上的,也基本能保证有时间在Serengeti或者Maasai Mara 住在
公园以内连续两天的game session.

征2~4名同伴,最好有长途旅行和野外经验.Safari基本上是无脑照相游了,不用走住得也
好,就是坐车有点颠. Marangu 路线号称可口可乐,行李别人扛,做饭别人管,晚上有铁皮
棚子睡,背个小包走路就是了.但是考虑到非洲第一高山的高原反应和登顶的寒冷,可能
要平常稍微锻炼下.但是基本上比较亲民.

花费估计(每个人)
机票: 美东往返Nairobi+local transfer= 950+300= $1250
Marangu route: 团费+小费+山下住宿+transfer=1400+150+100+100=$1750
Safari: 7天4以上人团+小费=1600+50=$1750
杂费: $200
另外装备费用:服装,睡袋,鞋子,背包,各种零碎etc.已有:$0.没有:$800+
